Instead of bending a generic LMS to your process, you get courses, live cohorts, quizzes, certificates and checkout that work the way you teach and sell. Marafiq, a training platform for facilities-management professionals, runs exam-prep courses with live Zoom cohorts, recorded lessons, timed auto-graded quizzes and PDF certificates with a serial number, QR code and public verification page; it went live about three and a half months after work started, with a team of 2, and about 940 automated tests. Meraki, a platform for a children's language school, scores pronunciation in voice exercises with AI and lets parents and teachers follow each child's progress.

FAQ
Why not use an off-the-shelf LMS?
If a hosted LMS fits how you teach and sell, use it. A custom platform pays off when your certification rules, cohorts, pricing or languages don't fit, or when you are paying for workarounds and plugins.
Can you move us off our current LMS?
Yes. Marafiq moved from a legacy Rocket LMS. We migrate learners, courses and records, and run both in parallel until the switch.
How much does a learning platform cost?
Platform builds start from $15k. We give a fixed estimate after a short discovery, which starts from $1.5k and is credited if the build starts within 60 days.
Do you still work with Open edX?
Yes. Open edX was the first service we offered, and we still host and support an Open edX platform for a client on a subscription. If Open edX fits your courses, we can deploy, theme and run it; when you need your own rules for cohorts, pricing or certificates, we build the platform on Laravel instead.
